Ride to the Cox's River and  experience the exhilaration of  a Stockman's mountain ride into deep gullies and along high ridges. 

Winding your way slowly higher and higher, you will enjoy some of the most magnificent views in Australia - the awesome Blue Mountains. Bathed in its beautiful misty blue haze, its a vast Wilderness region full of legends, mystery and magic. Experience the exhilaration of a mountain-ride along ridges and into deep gullies. Your stopover is by the Cox's River - one of the most pristine waters to be found - crystal clear pools surrounded by gigantic pink granite boulders on sandy river banks.

The ride leaves at 9.00am from the yards and slowly meanders through the paddocks, up along the ridge with close up views of the cliffs then down through the wilderness. 

It is a truly great ride over to the Cox's River to one of the most beautiful rivers in Australia. There is a break on the ride with lunch at the Outback Pub-Style Steakhouse at own expense  

The horses are selected to suit the riders skill and level of experience for your complete riding enjoyment

By Car

Drive on GT Western Highway to Blackheath (next major town from Katoomba) turn left at traffic lights, follow signs down to Megalong Valley, 15 min travelling down through the rainforest, then travel 2 km past tea rooms. You'll find reception for Megalong Australian Heritage Centre, Megalong Valley Farm and Blue Mountains Horse Riding Adventures  on the left with old large wool wagon and large dam plus signs out front of venue. Megalong Farmhouse Cottages are 2 km further down the road pass the Farm and on the left side near the old church.& school.

By Train

Catch Blue Mountains train to Blackheath (not Katoomba) and arrange for pickup (call us the day before for train schedules). Please call from station to confirm upon your arrival at station.
